Mary Luz Lumbreras

Owner & Founder
(Bilingual – English & Spanish)

Mary Luz Lumbreras is a dedicated behavioral health and social services professional with more than 20 years of experience serving individuals, families, youth, and communities across Illinois and Indiana.

As the Founder of Move In Faith Consulting LLC, Mary is passionate about empowering individuals and organizations through faith, compassion, advocacy, and evidence-based practices. Her mission is to help people and communities overcome barriers, strengthen their well-being, and move toward healing, stability, and purpose.

Throughout her career, Mary has served in a variety of leadership and direct-service roles across behavioral health, crisis intervention, child welfare, criminal justice, homelessness prevention, refugee and immigrant services, education, and community development. Her professional experience includes behavioral health advising, crisis services leadership, crisis diversion, police social work, case management, family reunification, program management, and resident services.

Mary has extensive experience supporting vulnerable and underserved populations, including at-risk youth, survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking, individuals experiencing homelessness, refugees and immigrants, justice-involved individuals, and individuals facing mental health and substance use challenges.

She has developed and supported crisis response programs, coordinated multidisciplinary teams, facilitated therapeutic and psychoeducational groups, conducted behavioral health assessments, and connected individuals and families with essential community resources and services.

Known for her collaborative and compassionate leadership, Mary builds partnerships among healthcare providers, schools, law enforcement, housing organizations, government agencies, and community stakeholders to strengthen support systems and improve outcomes.

Mary believes that meaningful transformation begins with seeing the whole person—including their emotional, physical, social, and spiritual needs. Guided by Christian values, she combines professional knowledge with hope, encouragement, compassion, and genuine care.

Kristie Riffe

Kristie Riffe is a compassionate family advocate and experienced case management professional with more than 30 years of experience supporting individuals and families affected by developmental, physical, behavioral, and mental health challenges.

Throughout her career, Kristie has helped families navigate complex healthcare, educational, and community systems with compassion, dignity, and hope. Her experience includes serving as an Indiana Medicaid Waiver Case Manager, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and individualized care plans designed to promote independence, stability, and quality of life.

Kristie is also passionate about special education advocacy, helping parents understand and navigate IEPs and Section 504 Plans. Through INSOURCE training and firsthand experience, she empowers families to become confident advocates for their children's educational needs.

Her work extends to supporting foster, adoptive, kinship, and biological families experiencing behavioral, emotional, mental health, and other life challenges. She connects families with resources, coordinates services, and helps develop practical, person-centered solutions.

Kristie brings more than 20 years of firsthand experience coordinating complex medical, educational, and behavioral services for her own children. This lived experience deepens her ability to understand families' challenges and provide authentic, compassionate support.

Her professional training includes DBT, CBT, Mental Health First Aid, crisis prevention and de-escalation, trauma-informed care, behavior management, intentional parenting, foster and adoptive family support, FASD, and youth residential behavioral health services.

Kristie also brings more than 15 years of personal recovery experience and a strong commitment to encouraging individuals and families affected by addiction. Her journey reflects her belief that healing is possible, lives can be restored, and every person deserves hope and a new beginning.

Kristie studied Psychology at Purdue University and continues to be committed to lifelong learning, advocacy, and helping individuals and families move forward with confidence, purpose, and hope.
